Hello,

Even after years of rebreather we go on learning, or mabye I go on realizing I know nothing (((-:
this morning I did a shalow 40m dive, my mask was leaking a lot,
I just realized today that it is really difficult to read the ppo2 controls with a drowned mask !!!!
I also realized that diluant and o2 consumption nearly double in this situation .....
every time i wanted to control ppo2 i emptied the mask and so the adv inject diluant and i had to inject o2 after 2 or 3 checks.....

I will definitly add mask integrity on my check....

I'am gonna buy a spare swming pool mask as spare mask....god coming back from 105 mters without mask....

Reading computers (or depth gauges) is fun with a totalled mask too.

For any dive where I'm at risk if I can't see, I carry a backup mask in a pocket. Haven't needed it yet, but it only has to happen once......
