When you need to look at your VR3, simply take it off of your arm, tape it on the end of the stick and hold it the correct distance from your face. It works wonders for me! ![]() |

If you are worried about infections then buy a box of the daily disposables. Seconded, I wear my lenses to dive in and have done for years; always use daily disposable ones and chuck them away after a dive. You can get a box of 30 over for for less than £1 a pair... not bad really ![]() I did used to have prescription lenses in my mask, but my eyesight is sooo bad, its cheaper and easier to wear my lenses ( -6 and -7.... ouch )Quote: (Originally Posted by Mdemon) They generally stay in if you open your eyes underwater without mask too. IIRC they do some sort of varigated thing to allow for a bifocal effect? Dunno - don't use them myself. Do they? Anyone tried this out...? Although I've never had one go missing on a dive, probably because I screw my eyes up so tightly when I take my mask off, they don't have chance to get away. Also, if they did go missing I'd be as blind as a bat ![]() So back-up mask with prescription lenses in, although they must be a couple of prescriptions out of date by now ![]()
