dui CF200

hello all, bit out off topic, but can anyone give me something on CF200

pros and cons... I'm looking into buying one: I'm using at the moment a topstar doubble shell (int 7mm not crushed), with a weezle extr+ I must add 7 kilo, and I don't like that!

regards
paul

Hello,

I think its a heavy suit compared to a tri laminate suit ...
It also takes longer to dry then a tri laminate.

CF200 is a much more durable dry suit than a tri-lam...

I owned a CF200 10 years ago. It never dried out between dives. A real PITA. Sometimes it took 2-3 weeks to dry out properly if I didnt put it in a hot, well ventilated room.

Wouldnt buy another one for that reason. Otter Britannic is fine for me now. Dries in no time.

I don't know Paul, maybe ask Caverkevin, he owns a DUI drysuit (but don't know if it's a CF200)
I have tried a Heavylight Cordura FZ from Ursuit and it's very comfortable.

Amitiés.

I make that comment out of experiance...

At one point I did own a tri-lam and it was torn more than once while crawling around inside a wreck...

Have not had that problem with my CF200's.....

If your in the EU somewhere I would go with an O3 or Otter non-trilam

I bought a CF200 when I was excessively flush, used it for a couple of years, but then got wise and changed over to a Britannic.

The CF200 does not dry out and the boot arrangement on my CF200 is a pain. Laces always undone underwater, or snagged. Cannot beat a Britannic in my view.

Cheers

Alex
