With that I have one suit "with" rock boots and one "without"... Why two dry suits?? Ever been on a multi day off-shore trip and have a seal rip?? Dive Safe.... Mark Don't remind me!

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: dui CF200 Over the years I've pretty much gotten by on whatever was the latest greatest deal at underwater sports. I've been through trilam, various types of noeprine and now crushed neoprine. Regular old noprine was too constrictive for my tastes, Shell/trilam were too binding under water. None of them seemed to last much more than 2-300 dives. I finally bit the bullet and put out the big bucks for the CF 200 and so far I have to say that I love the way it feels above and below water. Sure the front entry is convenient but the comfort of having full range of motion in the shoulders from the strong but stretchy crushed neoprine is the best part...I can reach everything without straining. The rock boots are decent enough and it's nice to have boots that are custom fitted for a change. I wish they'd do something different with the laces but at least I can mix and match other shoes/boots down the line if I so please. the heaviness is not noticeable to me and I have not found problems drying it...I just hang it in a ventilated area. As for the proported longevity...it's too soon to tell but so far i'm impressed, if it lasts as many or more dives than the average, i'll be happy...if it's the last suite I ever own, as suggested in their advertising, i'll be their biggest fan. I can't help but wonder if I had started out with it if I'd still be on my 4th dry suite.

![]() | Re: dui CF200 I Brought a second hand CF200X a few years ago from a mate and got an absolute bargain! I dived in it for several years (cant exactly remember how many!!) and it was only in the last year or so that it mstarted giving me real bother with the neoprene in the crotch area starting to delaminate and end up with soggy nether regions!! The only fault that i had was that i was replacing the zip every couple of years (ah must have had the suit 4 - 5 years then!) as there was no outer zip cover and i changed the standard boots to rock boots which i found very comfortable and practical if only a little cold. As i said i got the suit at a bargain price (it was practically given to me!) so i cannot fault what was an extremely comfortable and flexible suit however i have had to eventually change it and have bought a O3 Ri 2500 which i would highly reccommend too, dont think i could justify the cost of a new DUI even though the badge carries a certain amount of "bling" factor!! ![]() |

I'm looking at a move to The Netherlands, and if my diving interest is to stay alive and well, I'm gonna need something like the CF200 (with latex and turbo soles) too. Main alternative options to consider so far O3, BARE, OTTER BRITANNIC Hopefully every drysuit owner throws their 2 cents. |
