Same experience here with same suits.Paul, Try the CF200 before you buy as the sizing is different for this model compared with CLX or TLS. As an example, I'm a stock size LS for the CF and a stock size Medium for CLX and TLS. This is for the front zip. It's even a little different for the shoulder zip. Overall, for your diving, I think you would be happy with a CF200 for many years to come as long as you get the right size. Give a special attention to how comfortable you are at the arm pit. The CFx (front entry) tends to be too snug there (losange - diamand shape- panels at the arm pit) and can restrict mouvement and be uncomfortable after 2 hours or so. It is the same if the body part of the suit is a little too long (they call it girth @ DUI). Get the wrist zipseals but not the neck. It's a pain there: hurts your nose when donning/doffing, you can feel the ring when your gear in on shoulder... Have them under-cut arm length by 1 inch or so (2cm) if getting zip seals/gloves. Rock boots can be a pain for fins fitting but it's really comfy, safer for the feet on a boat, warmer and it's easier to just turn the suit inside out to have the interior dry. O3 2.5mm or 2.00mm are amazing suits very comfy that can take a lot of abuse. Better to have them with latex wrist seals though (I don't like their new extra streching material as it's not smooth and let water enter by capilarity on my wrist). O3 Customer Service is first class, even trans-continental. Now, it looks like some British DIR divers have good experience with the Protec Explorer suit: http://www.protecdrysuits.com/suits2.html I'll had that the Beuchat trilam is somewhere in-between the TLS350 and the CLX450. Hope this helps. Best Philippe |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: dui CF200 How long a suit takes to dry or how heavy it is out of the water are not very significant considerations to me balanced against how much I can rely on the suit to be in one piece and to do its job when Ive just travelled for days at great expense and inconvenience to get to a site. I want a suit that is rugged and can take rough handling, travelling, scrambling across rocks, sharp wrecks etc. I have a CF200 and it suits my purposes 100%. Its very well made, tough as hell, warm, comfortable. Im very happy with the purchase (2nd hand) My laces have never come undone - but if they do a bit of ductape around them should solve that. But having said all that I only have maybe 50hours using drysuits so wtf do I know ![]()

| Custom Title Allowed! Current Rebreather/s: | Re: dui CF200 I own a CF200x and it's a great suit for the diving we do in Belgium (North Sea and Zeeland). It's really tough and can take some abuse - the only disadvantage is that it's heavy, especially when wet. For this reason alone I bought an extra TLS350, only to be used for diving in warmer waters (like wrecks in France, Egypt in winter). I know it's fragile so I will have to be carefull but on the other hand it's light so good for travel by plane. Paul: in the dive center "Grevelingen" they are selling out their last DUI suits at reduced prices. Call and see if your size is still available. Steven |

| Submerge Productions Current Rebreather/s: | Re: dui CF200 My wife uses a tls350 and loves it. Easy to wear, light and still strong. Probably not the best suit do go crawling into wrecks. But leaks are easily spotted and repaired. I use a CLX450. Stronger than the TLS350, warm and a dream to dive. It takes longer to dry than the TLS350 and is heavier. From durability pov, DUI gives the TLS350 a 8 compared to a 10 for CLX450. Problems I had my suit are leaking dump valve when used with very thin undersuit and a leak in the crotch area. I had a new valve fitted and they added a crotch patch which is recommended if you dive Rebreather with crotch strap. Have it fitted when you order the suit (any suit), retrofitting is more difficult and more expensive. Liesbeth's suit also had the leaking dump valve (minor leak). She wasn't bothered about it. We both took custom size suits because a. you get a perfect fit and b. they include a couple of options that are normally extra, so the price difference isn't that big. Hope this helps, Peter |

| New Member Current Rebreather/s: | Re: dui CF200 I love my CF200. I've had it for 9 years and it's the best suit I've had and I beat up on my suit quite a bit. It's also keeps me warm here in the great lakes which was the biggest selling point for me. I had the rock boots when they first came out and after I wore out the boots I switched to the turbo sole's and I like them much better. When I get home from a trip I hang my suit in the basement and it takes about a day and a half to dry with the dehumidifier turned on. I have latex seals with no zip seals.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: dui CF200 I just come back from the diveshop: tried a ursuit cordura FZ medium size (although I'm 1.78), fits extremely well, perhaps the arms a little bit short... looks to me the ursuit cordura is a bit more wear resistant than the dui.. we'll see the CF200 tomorrow, what is says during diving :-) thanks for the input paul

I'm looking into buying one: I'm using at the moment a topstar doubble shell (int 7mm not crushed), with a weezle extr+ I must add 7 kilo, and I don't like that! regards paul Very flexible, hard to puncture (two holes in 4 years of wrecking in UK waters) and warm. Cant fault anything but the price. Brent.
