Yet more ebay scams.....

Is it just me, or has anyone else had this happen....

I was bidding on Al Giddings' BMR500, on ebay,which I didn't win. Following the end of the auction, I have received 5 emails (directly, rather than through ebay) offering me second chance offers! All these scammers were using Yahoo addresses.
I contacted a couple of these prats with an offer of cash on collection, and surprisingly they were "out-of-the-country" but someone at home would ship the Rebreather on receipt of wired cash.....!

Beware! If it is a genuine 2nd chance offer, you will receive a message via your ebay account in addition to your email address.
It would also be good to check the email address of the seller!
This really p****s me off!

Welcome to Ebay.

I just report them. Or ignore them. Or send them offensively abusive emails if I've been drinking.

Chris do you have a supply of "Hull, Yorkshire" T shirts? If you can get an XL or XXL I'd really like one.

There is a Dolphin up for sale right now, private ID, please send a check, based in Germany, but a shipping discount if you live in Ireland....Gee,,,,,Think this is for real? Andrew is on to something. Have a couple a drinks, and then go eBAY shopping...I have found that if you report an item that looks bogus, eBAY has generally de-listed the product in the same day.
