![]() ![]() | Re: Are there rebreather divers in Texas? My last boat sunk in Rita. I'm trying to find a fuel efficient boat now to run charters on. Price will depend on the boat, destinations will be rigs and wrecks. This year we will be able to dive some of the platforms sunk during the hurricanes. This is like diving a ship that went down unplanned instead of a prepared artificial reef. Randy |

I am in North Texas but I have a group of people that are looking for boats in the gulf. Presently, we have limited options for technical and rebreather divers. Later, Andrew

![]() | Re: Are there rebreather divers in Texas? Andrew, Where are you diving now? North Texas is a long drive to the coast. If you need a Rebreather instructor I know of a couple that are very good that I can put you in touch with. One that is willing to travel if the class is large enough (min. 4 students). John |

![]() ![]() | Update We finnaly bought the boat a 31' Chris Craft and should start trips on the Labor day weekend. These will be 1 day trips to rigs in the 100' area 30-40 miles off of freeport. After a few more improvments we will be adding some deeper dives including a drilling rig turned over in about 190'. We won't be shutting down for the winter but we will have to pick our days to avoid rough seas. Randy |
