Does anyone make custom mouthpieces?

I have bought a KM-48 facemask and it fits like a dream....
The only problem is that its fitted with a longer mouthpiece from the DSV and in to th mask and its way to soft and I have to bite down on it quite hard to keep it in wich gives fatigue after a while....it also makes the dsv zag....
Any ideas exept buying the Nato Pod?(we have been over that issue more than enough)

Are you having a problem with the mouthpiece being to long, or to short?. I also have an M48 and my mouthpiece is to short. I have be trying to figure out a way to extend it a bit so that I don't have to strain keeping it in my mouth.

I know there must be an easy way to fix this problem, anyone have any ideas ?.

Re: Does anyone make custom mouthpieces?

And how much do you need to extend it?
I think the easiest thing to do is to cut it and insert an tube/pipe as an extension and then attache it again. Then you can adjust the length you need. Or could it be any problems with that solution?

Roger- You clearly have a longer mouthpiece then what came with my M48. I asked for the long one but it doesn't look like that. They make two mouth pieces for the M48, a short one and a long one. If the one that you have is to long, it looks like you can just cut it shorter. My mouthpiece is to short. Were did your mouthpiece come from?

Re: Does anyone make custom mouthpieces?

I ordered mine from a dealer in Finland.....
I still find mine a bit on the short side.......and way to soft....
Makes me dream of the ones that come with Apeks-regs with the bridge in the top of the mouth
