Lightbulb Reusable CO2 Scrubber

What do you think of the possibility of a reusable CO2 scrubber. That is, a system which allows for one that can be purged of CO2 and reused in combination with one that is active, and then vice-versa ????? Wishfull thinking ??? It would feasably allow for unlimited use, and only be dependent on the breathing gas supply, and dive-time allowances.

Any thoughts ???

Re: Reusable CO2 Scrubber

Some compounds have been used (not in RBs as far as I know) which are regeneratable (by heating). Huge problem would be knowing that it was fully regenerated and no way you would have the power required to produce a system that could do it underwater.
I suspect we'll be on sodalime for many years yet!
