I also ordered the EVO, but will have to wait 8 months or so. I hope lots of people cancel due to the long wait time so I can get mine earlier.

I went for the EVO because of the lighter weight. Travelling by plane is already hard enough with 40 KG of filming equipment.

Hope to dive without bubles soon,

Peter

Hellooooo

Congrats on going for the Evo...

I was originally going for the unit but in my impatience and other factors I've changed my mind and gone for the Inspo instead

Maybe with people dropping orders they might be able to get the units sorted before your estimated delivery date.. fingers crossed

Enjoy

Lou

The full monty ADV, scrubber monitor, TX deco, Nitrox Deco.

I will probably go for additional deco-bailout bottles but I'm not sure what size. Anything else I should add to my X-mas list?

The main reason I'm going for CCR is to film these guys and other shy fishies.

Congrats!

PC,

Congratulations on your choice. I am sure you will like the Evo, since all that I have talked to have reported good things about it!

If by your choice of smilie, you mean to photgraph Garden Eels, you have made a good choice. I and my student laid on our tummies in the sand for ages one day with the little guys popping up inches from our masks. (Try that one, OC guys! )

Rob

Yep garden eels. The only way I could film them was to put my video camera in the sand, set it up as good as possible (focus, zoom, etc..) and back away.

Not a good way and the results well ... not Oscar material.

Erm ... I'm parading my ignorance here but what are garden eels? Nevereardovem. Are they really so similar to this that Rob Davie could recognise them from it?!!
Don't recall seeing anything like that popping up on my dives!

Hi PCDiver,

I think the Evo will fulfill your requirement brilliantly.

Re the We were only talking about them on the weekend over here in Oz (Byron Bay actually) with DaveH of www.daveharasti.com
