Hey Andy here are my 2 cents; if your diving can be planned, as far as depth is concerned, stick to what you have and get experience on your Dophin. It's a great simple unit to use, when you are ready, stay away from conversions if possible and go for the real McCoy.
I did the dophin back in 2000 but stayed away, due to the diving here is not an easy plan, meaning I dive on a local charter boat and more often than not due to weather conditions, we somehow change dive locations, the depth varying from 60' to 135'.
When you feel ready the SK is a sweet unit, simple to use, I get to mix gas on the fly.
Stick to your unit, do the kitchen, and woo the wife for a ccr.
