Hey guys,

Does Heliox.com company and there dive products really exists??? or is just a phantom company selling phantom dive products? I wonder..........

That's the outfit that has the cis-lunar.com url registered.
Never heard or seen anything locally about their products.
Andy Holmann, one of the CCR instructors, is here in the greater L.A. area,
met him at my PRISM intro.

I came across the website because of the Cis-Lunar name, at the time it just said that they would be developing products in the future. Dave Thompson rang a bell, of course, and so did another local guy (OC only) I used to dive with. Odd duck, that one, told everyone he was an ex-SEAL, dove with a boonie hat and spray-painted his valves and reg flat black. Ahem.

Andy I had not heard of, and the intro was at least a year later, I had forgotten about the site and didn't ask. And that was almost two years ago. Besides, I was busy with the PRISM and a MK16.

Supposedly they were working on offering an electronic package for a CCR unit for the last 1-1/2 years but that continues to be a rumor since I haven't seen any hardware yet.

We have worked on the products for a very long time now. They have been dived extensively and we are integrating the electronics on the classic KISS as an electronic upgrade to the standard handsets.

The products are listed on the web site to attract potential OEM customers in the rebreather world.

Heliox will not formally announce product until we are confident that the product can be made in volume, reliably and the mixture of the product features and functions versus price point are correct. To that end we have just started assembling final product for initial sale just last week. The rebreather world has plenty of parties who have done quite the opposite. As such I hope you appreciate why we are doing it the way we are.

Soon we will also launch a desktop software decompression product, which will be free as a gift to the diving community, and is intended to show the capabilities of the dive computer product. It also works as a stand alone tool.

Just kidding! Good luck with the SPC, I hope you are also working on the SK platform. DT has been promoting your "product" for a long time now...
