Re: Amadello on Meg Stand

I believe John Routley mentioned a while ago that he was working on something to enable sidemounting with the frame. I am interested in this also and have considered making my own webbing/bungee cords attachement for my backplate to secure the tank valves. The frame itself already has the bottom cut-outs to secure the lower portion of the cylinders.

John turned out a top notch frame and I'm just waiting to see what he comes up with next.

Andre I have made a sidemount setup for the classic kiss. All that is needed is a bit of webbing, the bungee cords, 9 grommits, 2 D rings, 4 short bolts with locknuts, a drill & 30 minuets. Works great, cost peanuts.

Care to post some photo's? Does the side mount kit at the bottom of the plate interfere with the bottom of the KISS and prevent it from standing upright?

Cheers

Rich

If you can touch your butt with the stand , you should have no problems using the ArmadilloCCR sidemount kit:
