Not that I would know anything…

I would download the manual from the UK website- loading the scrubber is described in detail. No dimensions are provided but from generalization you can get a good idea.

Next I would stop by http://www.tmishop.com/ (Tmishop.) Ron has some of the best breakdowns of scrubbers that I have seen. The page is slow to load because of pictures (this is not a put down-just lots of GOOOOOD stuff.)

Ron has a very good break down of an Inspiration and I would also reference the breakdown of the KISS classic unit- very good example.

After that check out- Ducans D5 unit at www.sump4.com

You will find some very specific information on how he did his scrubber design and some of his elements are ingenious! I can’t say enough about the ideas he made work for him.

If you know how much material each fill takes you could work backwards the cylinder shape and size. Just a thought- The last I heard was the phrase of 1lb of Kitty Litter per hour!

Hope that helps!

Not to be an old lady but take lots of time with the scrubber of the inspiration- you are packing one cylinder and placing it in another cylinder- simple dimensions do not quite work here unless you specific to what part of the scrubber you are talking about. This will become more apparent when you see it in the manual.

Regards, Andrew

Joseph,

Yesterday I measured the canister inner diameter 144mm and hight 177mm. The measurment is where the Sofnolime is filled into and not the other housing here the outer is in contact with water! Have a look here http://www.btinternet.com/~madmole/divemole.htm and click scrubber, hope this helps

Pierre....about meeting definitly this summer
