![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Looking for a dive & buddy, UK 18/19th April Hi, I will have 2 days in the UK between my Stoney cove based Boris course and Red Sea trip and was wondering if there was anywhere of interest for a dive on 18th/19th April I think 4 days at stoney will be enough so would like to go somewhere else. Is there anywhere to go in the UK that time of year? Any caves or mines that I could fit in with Boris? Is wreck diving not an option that time of year?? I will have transport. If anyone has any suggestions and even better if anyone wants to join me for some dives and/or a few beers that would be great. Cheers Mike

On east / south coast the vis is probably best the further Southwest you go - although the prevailing wind from SW can be an issue. Might be worth giving Rich Stephenson a call at Deep blue in Plymouth as he regularly goes out - and if there's a Mod 2/3 course going on he generally has some places spare on the boat. www.deepbluediving.org rich@deepbluediving.org Tel +44(1752) 491 490 / mobile +44(7791) 152 317 Nauticat out of Brighton often does mid week trips too. Here is link to their dive page http://www.channeldiving.com/midweek/midweek.html Third option is one of the boats operating out of Portland or Weymouth. The Portland boat calendar can been seen here http://www.divedorset.com/ Hope its of help - I'm sure others also have suggestions better than mine! Regards Steve |
