Hi JT,My main concern is how it effects the negative pressure test, as you can't see the rubber hoses? JT I have the hose protector on my unit and no problem with doing negative pressure as I can feel the hose crumple inside. Only problem i had is to clean the hose from dirt & sand. ![]() |

Rob Davie Portland Oceaneering can also supply such (Portland, Dorset, UK) .Made from 2mm armatex neoprene and dual sided black/yellow (ideal if you cant make your mind up as to the colour) and do not require the ends of the hoses top be removed. From memory they are about £7 ea. Next day delivery. Spot on. HTH Paul |

We were taught to suck a vacuum so that wil 'concertina' the hoses then, in my limited experience, it's quit apparent when they start to expand. r P [/Hijack] |

Paul, It is not really required to pick one method over another. As long as you can see the results of the negative pressure check (i.e. either kink, accordion, or crumple) clearly. Rob P.S.--I prefer "kinky", but that's just my desire, so to speak!
