Are you sure that's the same one?
It's not the same, european one is more negativ.

I think this might be the small fat 10L bottle that they sell in the UK. I've tried these, they are horrible as stages, really hard to handle.
Yes it's this one, and it's not for stage like all 0 or neg tanks when empty. I've some 63 cf US alu tanks (Catalina) which are around + 0.8 kg empty. They come nice deco tanks only when they are near empty !

Re: Luxfer cilinders

I've got a couple of the 12.2's and they behave in the same way. If you fill them above 180bar then they become quite heavy. They are also quite fat too, the 10.4 is really just a short version of it. I wouldn't buy any more, I'd rather get hold of the CE approved 80's.

In Luxfer CE, 7 L and 10 L 200 bars (not 232) make stage tanks.

Re: Luxfer cilinders

Only the 232bar 3, 7, 10.4 & 12.2 litre bottles are available in the UK through the "official" Luxfer agent, Sea & Sea. They don't do the 200bar bottles as a stock item, don't know if they would special order them though.

Re: Luxfer cilinders

We bought our bottles in Italy, Matar (www.matar.it) is the Luxfer agent for that country.
As it is impossible to buy small quantities, we made a grouped order of several units.
They came CE and Oxygen marked with the choice of normal (G5/8) or M26 valves.

A french shop, Marea Diving (www.mareadiving.com), has them in stock (http://www.mareadiving.com/catalog/1...r?language=fr).

Re: Luxfer cilinders

Some 200 b Luxfer (40 cf, 7L, 80 cf) can be found in Germany too.
At Deepstop for exemple http://www.deepstop.de/catalog/default.php?cPath=84_125
