Sound like a nifty idea Stuart, I vote for DEMA as I go every year, the pod cast seems like a good way to include those who cant make it. I have at least two new products coming out this year...VOTE FOR ME!!!

Tom does a great job of organising, I can help out too.

I think that an afternoon evening of rebreather's tests in swimming pool, would be a beautiful idea.

When this happened during TEK, was interesting and amusing at the same time.

A contest on the most stranger rebreather , like that organized to the French association of rebreather AHR, during the dive show in Paris, could be one amusing idea

I think that this is a GREAT idea! Like Ron, I'm at DEMA every year and it would be a real pleasure to get off the floor one day and hob-nob with Rebreather World folks. I'd definitely attend, and I suspect that the rest of the "crew" from ADM would be at my side cheering and slurring their words as the night went on!

Does this have to be held in the US? after all the most succesful CCR isn't made there and a lot of the membership of this site don't live in the US, seems the wrong place to me, especially given that DEMA isn't a public show.

Hi Jan,
in the substance I agree with you, but.....

the Dema is a public show, all people can enter, or at least was so up to two years ago!

All the most greater manufacturers are present and they wait for that moment to introduce theirs news.

And it's a good occasion to make a vacation at the same time.

I have tried to launch a different idea, and to do something in Europe, but the answer has been no really good.

Quind if the Dema is the good occasion to organize something, to meet some peoples and to see the last news of the market.....

DEMA is an idustry show, not a consumer show.
You have to be a professional in the diving industry, dive master, instructor, dive shop owner, buyer for a dive shop etc etc. And they tightened the access in recent years, to get a 'buyer' tag you have to prove you actually do the purchasing at the shop, incoices, orders, the whole nine yard.

Seems manufacturers are split between Europe and the US/Canada so either venue would work. Except that the US/Canada ones don't exhibit in Europe since the lack CE.

Another beautiful idea like this year for the dive show in Italy......

I really am open to sticking a location poll up about it.

If I was to hazard a guess though I bet we get more members at dema or willing to go plus more manufacturers than we would else where...

Don't you just need to be a DM or loosely connected to a dive store to get in....how ever as had been siad this would be an off site....

I have added a list of where our regular traffic comes from..

PS - the list goes on for ages of other countries in the 0%
