Has anyone used this swagelok hoses ???

Hi

Im wondering if anyone have tested this kind of LP-hoses and fittings from Swagelok ????

Multipurpose Push-On Hose (PB Series)

Features

Cover is flame-resistant in accordance with 30CFR, Part 18.

Single-braid rayon fiber reinforcement is woven for maximum

strength and end connection retention.

Stainless steel and brass end connections are available in

1/4 to 3/4 in. and 6 to 18 mm sizes.

If so, im thankful for letting me know about your experiences from this.

Rikard,
Yes I have, it does perfectly well, I used it on the HomeBuild.
The standard hose is not O2 clean but you can specify it O2 clean (or clean it yourself). Swagelok reccomend that if you are using this hose in a 100% O2 environment that the hose is replaced every 12 months.

I have not used it on a Rebreather yet but I have used it on pressure systems at work and they work well. They are easy to install and you always get the perfect length of hose.

I and a two friends use this hose and end system.
Great for the Dolphinator and other homebuilds.
I would use them again without hesitation.
I O2 cleaned mine regardless of what the packaging said.

but...
I do have another friend that was supplied the wrong size barb ends and his hoses kept popping off.

Nice to hear your expeariences from this hoses. I also think they look great. The specifications in far better than most common scuba hoses (mostly with shitty pressings in the ends. )

The only problem left to solve is to get a 9/16 UNF swiveling end for the hose, Swagelok doesnt have that. If I´m lucky the reusable one that Undersea prooducts www.undersea.uk.com
sells will fit the hose, if not I will machine them by my self.

Yes, there is. They are actually a few: just type PB4 in the search box and you'll have them all.
