| Silent diver ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Third day with Boris. Third day with Boris. Meeting at 7.30 o'clock, beginning of the pre diving procedures. All it' ok , up to the test of negative pressure. The SG unit and mine, lose from the connection of the inspiration hose. After various attempts, we realize that the Orings must not have greased , otherwise they to go out of their center and to damage it. Changed o ring, all ok, the test at the end doesn't take very more time of a test with any unities, if done following the procedures. Duive 20 meters Ramon Membru wreck Check bubbles in 6 meters and descent on the bottom. Skills: bailout long hose breathing with buddy manual fly primary manual fly secondary manual fly hud Allarm disable SCR Flush diluent and check PO2 sensor Sensors disable Hypoxia drill Hyperoxia drill Hypercapnia drill Partially flooded drill Hose clearing Rebreather off and bailout Bailout ascent O2 rebreather 100 minutes dive and NO problems. At the port washing and control unity. Theory with procedures for possible malfunctions. My confidence in the Boris and the pleasure of dive with it increases of time in time. Note: I have changed the original mouthpiece Poseidon, with a spare of my MEG. Another story, best breathing and any pain to the jaws at the end of the Dive. It's a unit with the great potentialities, perhaps the best on the market in this moment, with some things in progress of setup. Perplexed from: Manual injectors of O2 and diluent - hard and diluent with low flow choice of the batteries - rapid consumption Fragile structure connection jack of the sensors - I have some ugly memoirs on the reliability of this connection Laboriousness to change the sofnolime, asks for time, calm and space, I would see complicated change it on a normal boat diving during a navigation Not to the height of the unity: practically any accessory, not even a key to open the batteries compartment VR3 Cylinders painted in the garage labels HUD lost after 2 dives An exceptional rebreathers, however and I am happy to possess the two rebreathers that personally I hold the best on the market in this moment. I appreciate the Boris for its characteristics of endless redundance, facility of breathing, everything behind I appreciate the Megalodon for hits sturdiness, simplicity, safety and facility of breathing Two rebreathers to perhaps be used for differents objectives You excuse me for my language and thanks for your attention. It is difficult for me to express some concepts in English and at times the sense can result wrong PS. These are personal opinions and I don't perfectly know still the unit, I wanted only to share with you my impressions I can organize in may some try dive in collaboration with my Instructor. If you are interessed please contact me Best regards Aldo ![]()

For me its more interesting to hear your impressions, all do its just your first impressions and thing can change for the better or worse ......but to me that is much more interesting than what considered right and wrong by people allready sold on the unit.... Thank you for your report and dont worry to much about language issues.....most of us coming from other countries out of UK and the US know more than one language and that is a true blessing Keep up the good work Rodge |
