I'm leaning towards an Otter suit at this time due to the lower price. Thanks to all for your inputs... Jim ![]() My personal experience from DUI suits are just great. I bought my first CF200 secondhand and it was 3 years old and I used it for 12 more years ! and made some 600 dives in it. So when it eventually started to leak like everywhere and I had to bye a new suit the choice was really simple... another CF200. But as mentioned earlier there is one big disadvantage with the CF200... the weight and the drying time. But for the comfort diving in the suit it´s a low price to pay. /Z ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Drysuit Confusion I have an O3 and have just purchased a DUI CF200x Signature Series. The DUI is much, much better, it fits like a dream and is so flexible. This is the second CF200 I have tried, I didn't get on with the over the shoulder CF200 but the CF200x is totally different. They are very expensive, retailing at over £2000 for the same spec in the UK, but can be had for cheaper in the US. The workmanship on the suit is spot on and you can see why they are the better suit, but I fear the over inflated price is down to the fact all the DIR types sweare by them, but I think they are even starting to price them out of the market and they are looking for alternatives. They CF200x is heavy when wet and does take a while to dry but for UK diving that is not an issue, certainly not enough for me not to buy one and I can live with that. One very happy customer ![]() |
