How do you bail on your Meg?

I am looking forward to Leon's teaching on this subject when I take the course from the master.

I agree with Ron, ditch the air 2 (never liked them in the first place) and NEVER count on your diluent as part of your bailout stragety, there is not enough gas there.

Jitka, I agree with the OC rules of bailout.

There, that's my Canadian dollars worth.

Regarding Air2 - I've been issued a government Air2 as my work equipment - and have you ever tried to breath Air2 AND inflate/deflate at the same time? I did and shortly after that my Air2 had a new "happy" owner. It is virtually impossible to do and be in control.
Also even though I am a fan of self-sufficiency and fully content with solo diving; I want to be aware of how do I provide my "in desperate need" buddy while me being equipped with Air2?? If Air2 is used - the buddies need to be made aware of the situation and they need to bring their own - prefferably buddy bottle...
Also for people who use on-board bailouts: how do you provide your buddy with gas when needed?

I am NOT counting on my DIL for bailout,just want to be able to use it in worst case cenario if sling tank goes empty...thats what I meant...I allways carry slingtank for bailout/backup for buddy
