![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | One more Inspiration user! Well i finally made the move and got my self a classic. I picked it up yesterday from Stonney cove and did my first dive. It was 4 Deg C, so just a little chilly with a leaking suit, i knew i should have put my 7 mm on! The dive was "interesting" What i want to know is what the hell happened to my buoyancy I start the course tomorrow so am doing as much reading as i can and looking forward to getting back in the water with it. ![]() | Re: One more Inspiration user! Hope you did the tryout dive with an instructor.... oops. Anyway, you will enjoy it very much. I have more than 200 hours on my unit and it is as reliable as you can wish. Just the basic handsets are all I need to use. No fancy deco electronics or accesories linked to the unit. It works all the time and everytime. The only time I had a system failure was when I played around with the HH electronics. But I dumped that quickly and went back to the original handsets. It is probably one of the most reliable and proven electronically controlled units available. With regard to your boyancy, just keep working at it, you will see a great improvement after about 15 hours. Doing a 6m deco stop while doing your deco on the unit is a bit of a bear but it keeps you awake. TD van Niekerk |
