"Straight" Tank Valve?

Hi All,

I'm wondering if its possible to get a valve like the one shown in the attachment for a M25 thread tank? In case its not obvious- a valve where the handwheel is above and inline with the tank fitting.

Any ideas?

BEN

PS- Before you ask- Yes thats me chasing a carp around the bottom of a chilly Belgian quarry about 5years ago on Mr Decoweenie's CK and no, I don't have a horrible green suit anymore

Those look like Poseidon taper thread valves. I've got some on very old tanks. I've got some very nice M25 inline valves but they're 30O bar fitting. They are available. I'll check my shed to see who made them.

Re: "Straight" Tank Valve?

Ben,

Those were the tapered thread tank valve from Germany. No o-ring, just teflon.

As mentioned, I think your best source could be Poseidon for the 25mm version.

Re: "Straight" Tank Valve?

I've got a tapper tread one (common theme)
BA sets use valves like that so Drager may well do one or the Posiden valve - they do funky modular ones

Re: "Straight" Tank Valve?

You'll get them in French or Swiss dive shops.
