![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Sartek Bulb replacement The tube covering the filament for the bulb in my Sartek 10w HID has broken… Can anyone tell me how the bulb is supposed to be removed? Is it merely a push in/ pull out, or is there a clip holding it in place. Thanks in advance. Hoppyinca |

FWIW the new bulb comes with changing instructions... (well mine did anyway) The new lightheads are a nice simple unscrew job and replacements bulbs are easy to get, if you have the old style circlip and glass fronted one then firstly it is a PITA to get apart and secondly not worth it because I couldn't get a new bulb for love nor money I bought a new head .... My advice to anyone with a working bulb is to flog the whole thing and buy a new torch, one which you can get bulbs for.BEN |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Sartek Bulb replacement Thanks for the reply... I tried to pull, but thought it was not moving... posted the inquiry, but then got a reply form Sartek. They now use Brightstar bulbs vs Welch Allyn. I looked on the website and made an educated quess that it should be a bi-pin bulb... so I pulled a little harder, it came out fine! And there was much rejoicing,... yey! Now i just need to get some replacement bulbs... Sartek is charging $90, does anyone know of a less expensive option? Thanks again... |

The light cannon uses the same bulb from W/A and Leisurepro carries spares; you might need to solder wires on the pins if you have a wierd setup, but if its a straight bi-pin it should plug right in.
