![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Where can I get a proper armslate? Hi there! This is not really a rebreather question but rebreather-diving related anyway I have tried to find a better armslate, can just find the small 3-layer ones(got three of those already ) I see other slates all the time on photos on this forum...I would like the type where you have room to attach a bottomtimer or watch on the slate.... any info, hopefully a link to a websight would be great...Cheers Rodge |

I am also working on how to fit handsets, compass, backup slate (prefer on my arm instead of Wetnotes) and backup timer somewhere on my wrists while not being entanglement hazards or taking up too much arm real estate. Working on a couple of ideas now. Will let you know if it works out. |

![]() | Go to plumbing suppy - 4 inch (not sure metric) PVC piping. In US an 8 foot length is only a few dollars. You can make a bunch of your own..... ![]() |

Here's a link to an article on a DIY wrist slate that cost $4 oz and 15minutes to make!!! http://www.diveoz.com.au/diy/read_story.asp?story=2

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Where can I get a proper armslate? You can also take a regular flat slate (or a piece of scrap plastic) that is close to the size you want and boil it for a few minutes. Once it's good and hot, fish it out of the water with some tongs and bend it around a drinking glass (a pint glass 'liberated' from the local pub works good for this ). Let it cool and there you have it. You can drill the holes before or after the bending, but before is easier. Oh-and if you use scrap plastic instead of a 'real' dive slate, rough it up with some fine grit sandpaper first. Hope that's helpful. Brian
