Trying to ID vintage Rebreather/bandmask

Hello all,

Someone from the Vintage SCUBA board referred me to here. I stumbled across a rebreather/bandmask rig that I haven't seen before. It definitly appears to be American (Says Tempered USA on the glass as far as I can tell). Does anyone here have an idea of the vendor and perhaps year? The dates listed with the pictures aren't proper to the equipment.

I'm assuming it is a rebreather and not dual hose regulator w/ tanks in a case due to the appearance of a standard reg + supply hose. It could be deco gas, I could be wrong. My rough guess is 70's, but I'm not sure.

Any insight would be appreciated.

TIA

Ah many thanks! The page you referenced looks to be the original source of the photos to boot.

Re: Trying to ID vintage Rebreather/bandmask

It's indeed a rebreather in the picture, a 70's Shadow Pack from Divematics USA.
8 lbs radial scrubber, single counterlung on top of the stack, small tanks (2 ltr I believe) all enclosed in the shell. Very streamlined unit.

The mask is a Widolf, as Mike pointed out. Divematics offers the Widolf for OC or Rebreather, the latter with or without integrated OC bailout. Most any demand valve can be used, and the DSVs are available without masks, and for most any rebreather. This one uses an Apeks second stage and is threaded for the Inspiration CCR.
