I did it!

Well I did it today! I placed the order for my new Evolution loaded with extra cylinders! I am still a bit sick over the $$$ but I hope to be over it in a few days. The only set back I see right now is the delivery date (up to 4 months!) Well I hope it is worth the wait.

Congratulations, Rob. I guess the pain of the sticker shock
depends on how much you're bleeding, but it'll go away once
you have your hands on the unit.

Well done - a proud new Evo. Don't worry the pain of the money will disappear once you are diving. It is a great unit.

I've got a extra set of cylinders as well. It helps when you are travelling away from home to have a full supply of gas for two full days of diving. It is also great to ship them ahead of you with other bits and pieces when you are travelling overseas to save excess baggage costs.

Let us know how you get on when you do your training.

Only 4 months ?

I have 2 Evolution on order for different people, and was quoted 10 months.

Did you order directly from APD ? Or thru the US distributor ?

10 Days and counting before mine leaves the factory ... that is a Inspiration not a Evo ,....!!

10 days!! OMG! my OC gear is already starting to snarl at me when I walk past it!
