![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Sidemount - up there with scooters and HID lights Ive been testing out Jakubs sidemount thingy for my bailtanks over the last few days and all I can say is this is up there with scooters and HID lights as one of those things that just makes diving so much more fun. I really enjoy the streamlining, and the fact the tanks are rightout the way and not up my nose. Ive been messing around inside wrecks with two 12L sidemounted and not felt anywhere near restricted as I would with normal slung tanks. Anyone who hasnt tried it get Id give it a go - I gaurantee you wont go back!!

Also meant (as I followed the clear and comprehensive setup/adjustment instructions) that it worked spot on first time perfect set up. Ill try to get one of the muppets Im diving with to take a pic tomorrow - Ive been testing my diy camera housing - so far ok to 72m but I do need a bigger lever. Just spent 2 hours crawling through a wreck that was very tight - I really felt the benefit of the sidemount far less 'clunk'
