I don't know since I still can't find it before leaving for China...

Anyway, anyone who hasn't been to China in the last 5-10 years will be amazed at the progress...

Anyway, already found a source to "copy" the Meg better than the Czechs. Do we have any volunteer to lend me his/her Meg for a while ?

Phi, if you have a company ready to copy the meg, shouldn't you have them copying the Boris instead?

How is your source going to make their copy "better"?

Is this copy going to actually have some minor similarities to the Meg?

If they "copy" it and sell 'em for $2k to anyone with a VISA card, I'd be loving that - even more so if its not an infringing copy!

Re: A solution for Butt-heavy rebreather divers

Of course everyone is aware, I was only kidding about copying the Meg...

But seriously, if desired, it is not a problem at the least. I already have sources to "improved" my products at 1/2 the cost using import parts. Using domestic Chinese parts would be even cheaper.

I have visited several manufacturing plants that have in access of 700-1000 CNC machines. Most are 3- and 4-axis, but 5-axis are also now available despite the US effort to keep them from the Chinese hands (i.e. prevent from making fighter planes).

But the amazing thing is the same components made in the East with 3-axis machine are done locally using a mill or lath since the labor is so cheap.
