Same side or both sides, it depends on the dive (or how many primary lights I have).

If on the same side, I carry the deco mix low with the reg. bagged. The reason is I like to make it hard to get to the mix that will kill me at depth.
The bail out is very accessable with or without sight.

If I split them I keep the RICH mix on the Right (bagged reg.) and bail out on the left.

I am used to this config and it requires NO thought for me.
