![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | You're too short. (read the post before voting) I am trying for the title of Poll King. If you would dive to 120m (400ft) for 20 min bottom time with a total runtime of 194mins, please vote. The water temp is 15C (60f) and is ocean diving, CCR all the way. (support crew is standing by) Is the runtime above: Too short (by 5 mins or less) Too long (by 5 mins or more) About right (within 5mins) If it is too short or long and you feel like posting let us know what the runtime is, what gas choice and what program. Thanks, Wiz Last edited by wizbang : 29th December 2005 at 05:45. Reason: More details |

That looks pretty much spot on for speed to what bent the crap out of me. I used to run VPM Nominal with not so much as a niggle. I decided to go a bit more conservative VPMB +2 and this looks a lot like that. Now I run E3 for anything like that dive

I have done profiles like this with runtimes in the 140 (nominal)-160 (extra conservative)min range, using RGBM based tables..If you would dive to 120m (400ft) for 20 min bottom time with a total runtime of 194mins, please vote. Thanks, Wiz My gas was typically 65% Helium 10% oxygen

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: You're too short. (read the post before voting) I would be looking at a minimum runtime of 222 minutes. Doing 18 minutes bottom time would get me out in minimum 194 minutes. I would use a diluent of 6/72 running at a PPO2 of 1.2 at 45m I would flush through a 20/30 dil then run the unit at 1.4 PPO2. This is using proprietary tables based on VPM-B +10% deep stops padded with raw Buhlmann +10% Time SF. It also gives me an END of 25 metres. Cheers, Dave Cooper.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: You're too short. (read the post before voting) Thanks guys and Girls, Feel free to put up a simple post something like: Too short 241mins 10/65 VPMBE+3 which is what I would prefer to do. I guess I am just trying to see the variability between us as divers. Thanks for contributing. |
