| In my own little world ![]() ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | hi john the meg has the same problem as the kiss you have to stoop low to put the unit on and when you sit with the unit on you are always carrying the full weight of the unit with the stand you don't, it give some where to stow a suit inflation tank or a battery pack, it gives you a sturdy handle to pick the unit up with rather than the strap handle that is on the unit. it is obvious it is a handle for picking up the unit so others helping you on the boat wont grab you loop, when diving the frame takes the weight off the small of your back so you don't get back ack after long dives. and it looks great! if you ask nicely i can see if i can make it sing and dance too kindest regards john Quote: (Originally Posted by JonnyB) i see the benefit of this for the KISS when it is like i described in my last post. But what will the benefits be for me as a Meg diver? kind Jonny

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Frame For Kiss And Meg! On YD someone reported that the frame weighs 1.75Kg. With density of aluminium of 2.7Kg/litre, that means a volume of 1.75/2.7=0.65litres, so the frame will displace this volume of water and the weight in fresh water will be 1.75-0.65= 1.1Kg negative. I get to drop another kilo off my weight belt ![]() Neil |

| In my own little world ![]() ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | it's finished!! I'm very happy with this now and the first one has gone out the door already, there is a lot of pictures to look at below, the units are more stable on the stand than they are on their own, and when you pick up the unit by the handle it stays straight and doesn't swing under it's self,it's made from the highest corrosion resistant Ali available. i have added a couple of slots for a cam band(not suppled) to hold a 1.5lt tank, if you want to fit a quick release mount you will need to drill the holes your self, this is very easy for you to do, but impossible for me to guess what holes centres you might want. I'm going to need money fairly soon from people £130=$230 + shipping i will know the price for shipping on Tuesday. if there are any others that would like one of these then i need your name on the list. kindest regrads john routley www.narkedat90.co.uk
