Easy to do with a slight modification. This configuration would work for the Meg also so you could still have just one style. |

Already on it! i sat down last night and worked it out so as not to create any snag hazards. it's more work on the frame but will solve the problem, I'll start to redo the cnc work in a few days, but before i go to far can any one tell me the amount of drop you need to remove the scrubber? as close a measure as possible if some one would be so kind! kindest regards john routley

| In my own little world ![]() ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Frame For Kiss And Meg! thank you very much, that works out perfect, if i make the the tab and it's support removable it will give you exactly 4" of drop what this means is you will have to remove two small thumb bolts to take the tab off, I'm trying to keep the cost down as much as poss on this so the fewer parts i have to make the better and the less to go wrong with a finished frame also the weight on the bottom need to be kept to a minimum, but i think this is not to much of a problem. my Kiss friend still says he doesnt see the need for it but if every one wants this change then i'll make it! kindest regards john routley Quote: (Originally Posted by silentscuba) A 3 3/4" drop just clears, a 4" drop will clear the scrubber head with a little extra room so as not to damage any o-rings.

Just to confirm: 4" drop looks fine, gives enough room to get the threaded central bar in the scrubber out. Neil P.S. Ideally would have a threaded hole to attach a sacrificial anode ![]() Last edited by Sutty : 2nd January 2006 at 17:45. |

| In my own little world ![]() ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | SO to recap you want a frame that raises the breather ,lets you stow a suit inflation tank or a battery pack, gives you a sturdy 2 hand handle and tyeing point, gives you easy access to the scrubber and internals, and can be used on multiple re-breathers, in a stylish package that will last and look good for years and a at a price that makes it cheaper than chips, but it must have a sacrificial anode to stop the world going bad and to end all wars.....can i add it also has an added benefit of ending world hunger(WARNING may be different from published picture) I'll do my best!! thanks every one john routley Quote: (Originally Posted by Sutty) Just to confirm: 4" drop looks fine, gives enough room to get the threaded central bar in the scrubber out.
