I am going to pick up a KISS Stand (made by Narked at 90) today when I fly out to Seattle WA - from Curt who is on the Rebreather World site. He ordered some extras for people in the states - give him a pm.

I'm excited to try it and will post some feedback after a few trials.

John, does this mean that your new creation will be specifically for the SK and not a reworked version of the MEG/CK unit? If so, I for one am patiently awaiting the lab results!

hi yes it will be a new stand, it will look the same at the bottom but will be the same depth(front to back) as you SK case
OK I'm getting conflicting request with what i should do with the top of the stand.
one people just want a handle like on the meg stand. but with a little pod locking bar that just holds the scrubbers in place this would be very easy and cheap to do.

or forget the standard handle and make a removable halo to protect the pods
this can be done but will add a massive amount to the cost of the stand and would mean you will have to drill in to you SK case

i need to know what you lot want before i go and start the cnc work with this as i cant afford to go waisting my cash on some thing people dont want.

I'm flexible about the stand, I'd add that I, in no way want to drill my case, I have the SS one so all the holes that are there are fine! I thought we, (SK divers), were looking for a way to add height for easy donning, space underneath being used for cannister light, suit bottle.......whatever. There's already a means to keep the scrubber in the cannister, not interested in that and I don't need a halo. Having said all that........I trust your work, so as long as it adds height and you change the depth and no drilling into my case is needed, I'm in.

that makes things a lot easyier, the scrubber holder was because a few scruber have almost come out of the case when the velcro the holds the push clips on has come undone, but if it's not needed then thats less parts to make,

During my initial training course, I saw that the stock scrubber retaining strap seemed to be a little "light." I swapped it out with one of those straps from a mountain climbers store, it works kind of like the way you tighten up the shoulder straps on a BC.........if that helps anybody, great!

The Kiss stand is great!!! Thanks Curt and John. It makes getting into it easier. The kiss is now long enough that it sits on my shoulder and butt vs lower back. This prevents lower back pain i have found on long dives. Highly recommend to all Kiss and meg divers.

let just hope the sport kiss stand works as well as the kiss-meg stand.
