Sorb Help

I was orignially taught in my class that only Dragersorb could be used in my Dolphin. Of course I know that's horse puckey! I used it for a while but it's harder to source in the US since they pulled the plug for the US market, so I've been using Spherasorb for the past year or so. The Spherasorb has worked well for me, without any issues at all. Technically it's not made for diving use, but I have never had a problem.

I'm just about ready to order some more sorb, and was thinking of trying a different type, just to see if there's any big difference. One specifically designed for diving is surely best. I know that Sofnolime is quite popular, and easy to get in the US. I see on the DiveRite website that it comes in two pellet sizes. Not sure what size to use.

The Dragersorb is little half moon shaped pellets, the Spherasorb pellets are about the size of BB's. Sofnolime looks like little chips.

Looking for info from other Dolphin divers with real experience with Sofnolime. What size mesh? WOB issues, cautions, etc.

When I was diving my Dolphin I used Sodasorb 4-8 never had a problem.

I used to use 8-12 with mine and had no problem at all

I only ever used 4-8 sofnolime in my Dolphin. Used it to 4 hrs in cold water. Never had a problem.

I have been using Molecular Sofnolime SL408WV with no issues....
