Yeah who needs a presure gauge on the O2 side

Of course I don't think we should be diving without knowing what pressure that we are diving.

Honestly, as long as it hisses when you open the valve, you should be OK for an hour or so...

Re: Cheap, dinky little first stages...

Ooooo only just seen this.

Interstage on these is 6-8 bar if it helps ?

FWIW, I wouldn't breathe off 'em and I sell 'em

Suit inflation is what they are good for.

Re: Cheap, dinky little first stages...

Here is a 1st stage valve that Zeagle has just started shipping. It is small and lightweight but still has all the ports you need---plus it has a high pressure quick connect that makes it easy to do cross fills or air station fills.

It is not that expensive either.

Re: Cheap, dinky little first stages...

yes the new little Zeagle is a sexy little piston, I should have a couple to play with in the next few weeks.

Have not yet heard back from Zeagle as to if they are ok for 100% O2.

Cheers
Chris

Re: Cheap, dinky little first stages...

I've always been a bit bemused by the "Guaranteed for Life" statement.

What does it mean?
  1. guaranteed until it breaks?
  2. guaranteed until I die using it?
  3. guaranteed to be usable by people who are alive?
  4. guaranteed to be usable as an anti-abortion device?
Does look sexy though.

PS those other little firsts look....(makes sour lemon face). Although I love the idea of having an "attack DIN" on one.

Re: Cheap, dinky little first stages...

These look quite interesting. I would love to replace the valves I have on my CF cylinders with something like this....would save me having to use a weight in top of my unit to get good trim.
Or course I don't suppose they come with an M18 X 1.5 thread do they? Or do they....!
The other slight problem is the size of that valve knob...
