OC/CC DSV for dolphin

I am looking for some info on how to adapt a OC/CC DSV for my MCCR Dolphin. I am looking at getting the KISS and I had seen somewhere that it is possible to get it to fit into the Dolphin breathing hoses. If anyone has info on how to do this I would appreciate it. Thanks

I have a set of Inspo to dolphin adaptors if you get an OC/DSV for an Inspiration.

You're in luck, it seems to be a piece of cake. You need only replace the Drager O-rings with ones that are a bit thicker.

Here's an excerpt from the write up:

Then we had to figure out how to make them fit the hoses on our Dolphins, since these are a lot different in size and shape, compared to the hoses on the Original KISS Rebreather. To our big surprice, all we had to do was replacing the O-rings on the Dräger DSV hose-fittings, to make them fit the KISS OC-DSV. The Dräger hoses could now be mounted exactly like we were used to, on the Dräger DSV! :-)

If you should like to do the same it is, OF COURSE, at your OWN RISK!!!
The size of the O-rings we have been using for replacement on the Dräger hose-fittings are:
Inlet fitting: (3x25)mm
Outlet fitting: (2,5x25)mm
Notice, that the O-rings had to be stretched when mounted on the Dräger hose-fittings.

I'm kinda waiting to see what Gordon's new DSV looks like before I get one of the current ones, I'd like to add this to mine as well.

What are the sizes of the breathing hoses?

Couldn't you just get rid of the Dräger connectors on the hose and replace them with Jetsam's new QCs?

Alternatively, Divematics' OC/DSV are available with Dräger connectors.

I looked at both the KISS OC/DSV and the Divematics OC/DSV before I purchased the Divematices in May.

The one big advantage to the Divematics unit is that it can be adapted, with new ends, to other rebreathers. I used mine on the Dolphin CCR conversion and now having ends made for the HH Inspiration.

I would love to replace the drager hoses but this would require me replacing the fittings in the lungs as well and I don't think there is an adapter out there that will do this?? If there is please let me know or steer me in the right direction. Thanks

i am toying with the divematics. i have a weird question. i want inspo hose fittings on it, but can i remove the inspo connectors and then fit it to my kiss??

with a bit of finess, the inpiration hoses will work on other port connections..

I have successfully used it on both KISS quick disconnect and Meg T-Pieces..
