Swedish Rebreather-divers near Stockholm?

I am possibly moving to Järfalla in a few months and staying at least 6 months. It would be nice to find Rebreather-divers to dive with. I will bring my unit with me if I can go diving.

There are quite a few Rebreather divers in STHLM...Im just one of them so you will have no problem finding someone to dive with

Re: Swedish Rebreather-divers near Stockholm?

Oh really?

I tend to visit there pretty often (Kista mainly, although Alvsjo and Nacka feature too). Is there anything worth diving locally?

Re: Swedish Rebreather-divers near Stockholm?

Zak - Let us know when it suits you and we can arrange some wreck dive or ice dive for you (and us). I am planning to take up my boat after this weekend but there is other alternative.
Jhaaja - Welcome to Stockholm. Many of us still do some dives when it is cold and you are welcome to join us on an ice dive. I don't think it differs particularly from ice dive in Finland but it is still DIVING!

Both of you - There is at least two Rebreather-divers who works in Kista, quite near Järfälla. I don't think I promise too much if I say that they probably can meet you over a lunch.

Great to have you here!

//Dan

Re: Swedish Rebreather-divers near Stockholm?

Thanks for info!

I will ask for more detailed contact info if I really come to Sweden. Discussions with my employer are still ongoing.

I have done 3 dives in Sweden last year. Two were in Vättern near Jönköping and ones I visited the west coast. In Vättern I did one dive with a guy that was diving Classic KISS and I think he was from Motala. I can not remeber his name, but I guess he was around 40 years old. Really nice guy!
