Waiting for the old farts section, although i'm still able to show the youngsters a trick or two it just takes me a lot longer.

46 years old and enjoying life as much as ever back to full mobility (more or less still building back to full fitness) after a hip re-coating operation two months ago. I started caving in 1977 and cave diving in 1983 and so far I have never dived in salt water :-) Bought my own Rebreather six months ago and me and it are getting on well.

I have to say that's a very nice picture of you. You have such a pleasant face, and that coat must be very comforting in those cold winters!

Let's see. I dove a PRISM in a pool 8 yrs ago with Jeff Bozanic and Peter Ready. Jeff tried real hard to sell me one then. I still can't believe I did not buy the Prism way back then. I could've afforded it. There was just a person that I really respected kept telling me " the jury is still out on Closed Circuit." Maybe it was because he did not teach that form of diving? I bought an Inspiration at 48 yrs of age. And for you younger folks that want to call me old----I'm a proven commodity, you don't know you'll make it this far

I'm not as good as I once was but I'm as good once as I ever was.

It helps get across some farm land under cover to caves ,although in certain areas a sheep outfit can have its own problems if the locals spot you

I think what you are referring to is a saying in Montana or Wyoming: where men are men, women are scarce, and sheep are nervous. Or something like that. We in Texas are not like that.

Hi, I'm 21 now. Haven't done my Mod1 just yet, Just bought a 2nd hand unit in the last month and it was delivered today. Cant wait to get started on CC diving in the next month or so.... Barry
