Darling hoses. And yes, they are expensive. They are usually not off the shelf items since you need to tell them the type of ends you want on the hoses, and the length... It took me ages to finally found a source that could provide them reliably... There is a source in Germany where I got mine since they also sell (exact) Rebreather-80-copy units. They have stock of certain lengths, but anything shorter/longer or with different hose end will take longer. Their contact is: GermanDivingSystems An der dicken Eiche 2 67707 Schopp Germany Tel: (49)6307/401407 Fax: (49)6307/911180 www.gds-techdive.com info@gds-techdive.com

I think they are designed to withstand nuclear blasts (very tough). If you don't mind having a smaller diameter hoses you can always source it from military-surplus shop like the one I got in the pic. From what I know the Manufacturers - R.E.Darling / Herbert Cooper only sell you bulk not to mention it is rather expensive. The set I have is 30" in lenght with a 1-1/4" O/D and hoses end of 7/8" I/D . The good part is no hose wieghts required as the ss spring is a weight by itself. ![]() Hope this help.
