![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | structural strength of tear aid vs bladder Hello, put some minor holes in my inspration bladder on fri night when prepping unit ;-( Has some type A tear adi in my tool box, so patched the holes, and its airtight ;-). I know that tear aid fors a good / quick seal, but am paranoid about the strength of the patch over the long term vs the strength if the original bladder. Wrestling with getting bladder replaced as part of inspo service (needs some new cells anyway) vs leaving the bladder as is. Any thoughts? |

| give a man an inch....... ![]() ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Re: structural strength of tear aid vs bladder I've had AP patches (bladder material) guled on with woolworthes shoe glue. Stayed on for a bit had them come of after a trip to egypt in Jan 2006, glued them back on and just had one come off glued it back on bladder still leaks a bit so may well tear aid over the top.
