| Closed Circuit Divers Aus Current Rebreather/s: | Jet Fins I decided to get a pair of large jets when I started diving my drysuit all the time and found I couldn't fit my toes into them so I then went and got a pair of XL fins. Only to find I could get my toes in but they were so badly scrunched up that my feet would cramp up after half an hour and then it'd take 2 people to get them off!!! So I decided to get a pair of XXL fins.......Now they are so big I can wear them with my steel capped work boots and they're still loose!!! I like the jets as they are heavier than my Avanti's and give me a better trim the only trouble is they don't make a pair that will fit. I have turbosoles on my CLX450 and they don't seem to be a lot bigger than a pair of the usual run of the mill booties. Anyone got an suggestion on a similar fin to the jets that I can fit my size 9 foot into that are a bit on the heavy side? Thanks, Lance

Divex fins are a lot cheaper then the ScubaPro ones. For comparison my Divex XL fit size 13 hoof with wetsuit booties perfectly. Scubapro XXL fit perfectly wearing issue Terra boots. Regards Brad |

I had the same problem and use now the Turtle Fins.So I decided to get a pair of XXL fins.......Now they are so big I can wear them with my steel capped work boots and they're still loose!!! Now they fit perfectly. |

When I did it I needed booties that were two USA sizes bigger. Not to much bigger that I needed new fins and I still have the bottom protection for walking. John |

I used them for a long time with my DUI Turbo Soles. They're a bit stiffer but just as heavy as the Jets. The size LARGE is about the same as an XL Jet, and fit my size 11 foot perfectly. You might want to try a MEDIUM. Any shop that sells XS Scuba's line should have them. Are you using spring heel straps? -- Art |
