You could try Tekstreme in Hurghada or Marsa Alam. Both resorts have boosters, O2, lime, stages and helium (when you get your hours up)
Marsa Alam is untouched ande offers some great diving.

There is now an airport at Marsa Alam, so divers there do not have to be trucked to and from Hurghada in a long desert coach drive. When I was there there was no risk of going to a wrong departure gate, as it only had one departure gate.

How's about Malta?? I've never been there so it's just a guess, but it's not that far and the waters are warm with plenty of wrecks... and being an island, take your pick as the wind moves around!

I don't specifically know of places that support rebreather divers but Scubatech run courses so i guess could be a start.

Having said that, you can't go wrong with Egypt.

So any suggestions?

Thanks

What about wreck diving in Pula (Croatia)? There are many wrecks there and know at least one Rebreather friendly base. I wanted to do a week Rebreather wreck diving in june there, but I cancelled it because of my work. The guide there has different rbs, and among them if I am not wrong an inspo.

PM me if you want, and I gave you the email address.

well malta will have nice water in september

there are other ccr divers coming over to the island at that time, a lot of diveschools are rebreather friendly. lots of wrecks from 40 upto more than 115 mt for those who want to dive deeper

Thanks to all who took the time to post.

My conclusions: Bali is too far (for a week), Scapa suffers from uncertain weather. So it looks to me as if its Egypt for a week or Grand Cayman for a fortnight.

thanks

Kevin

Hi Kevin.

A good tip is Gyeln Diving Center, just 80km north of Bergen.
Beatiful wrecks, and lot of nice nature...

Skin Deeper out of Portland, England - wrecks in 0 to silly metres excellent boat with lift, plenty of on shore support from shops to manufacturers (O-Three suits in Portland CCRB nearby) what more could you need?

Ant

PS Not sure where the nearest airport is

You just want us to do all the work and you get to have all the fun.

Next you will be asking how you should pack your gear to get around the baggage restrictions.
