Switched to a Golum BOV because Paragans are paper weights only. Switched to Cooper hoses because they look sexy. ATB Mark

![]() | Re: have you modified your rebreather poll On my HammerHead I added the plumbing for offboard dil into the loop block. Now, for dil I have onboard plus whatever I am swinging all available to the BOV and ADV. |

| New Member Current Rebreather/s: | Re: have you modified your rebreather poll Upgrade to FX version last year. Upgrade not significant as far as I'm concerned. Golem Vario BOV Quick release for BOV directly to Bail Out Cylinder. 4th Cell with VR3. HH controllers updated to latest ver last year. Altitude Calibration a must for those of us that dive 99% at altitude.

| Going Down? ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Re: have you modified your rebreather poll Replaced the stock backplate with my "Dsix" alum plate/foot. Turned ADV over so hose is on the inside and readjusted the sensitivity. The rest of my Optima is pretty well stock - for the moment ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: have you modified your rebreather poll Prism Topaz: Replaced stock recreational BCD with Deep Sea Supply (DSS( prism backplate adapter and counterlung yoke, then added AGIR 38lb wing and SS backplate. Replaced stock chest D-rings on harness with DSS "under the counterlung" D-rings. Finally, replaced the stock Prism mounting plate (flat plastic plate that mounts the head) with a custom-fabricated SS plate. This plate is a 1/8" SS copy of the plastic plate, so looks and works the same, just weighs 10lb. The main purpose of the mods were 1) Get rid of recreational BCD and back to a tech (HOG) backplate, harness and wing. 2) move weight off the weight belt and onto the rebreather. Now I only carry 10 lbs on a weight harness. -S |

| Multi-Circuit Meg Monkey! Current Rebreather/s: | Re: have you modified your rebreather poll Dived a stock Meg for about 200hrs. Have recently swapped out the Apecs 2 electronics for a Shearwater primary and HUD. 2 more planned mods to the Electronics from Narked at 90: - Replace Molex wire harness with coaxial wire harness - 4th Cell in Head and a second Shearwater monitor. Primary handset to monitor Sensors 1-3, secondary handset to moinitor Sensors 2-4. This has yet to be confirmed as possible due to space limitations in the head. 5 more planned mods to the pneumatics: -Adding an inline shutoff to the solenoid feed -Adding a FFM & BOV with offboard QC's to feed the demand valve -Moving manual Oxygen injector to the head, so addition of O2 will be downstream of my mouth and upstream of my scrubber and sensors -Will be moving manual dil injection to the head as well. This will allow me to rear mount my CL's eventually and to get CL's with fewer orifices and seals in em. -Will be mounting gas blocks similar to the ones on the Sentinel on my chest to accomplish some or all of the above as well as allowing me to plug in offboard gas into the automation. That's it for the immediate future Cheers Seb

![]() | Re: have you modified your rebreather poll Got rid of the auto-scare and put a normal reg inplace, stainless halo, larger wing, Kent tooling cage, 3L suit/wing bottle, removed ADV, mod to make counter-lungs removable, modified harness for fixed d-rings, put a dump pull-chord to right hand shoulder over pressure valve. Errr........... oh put O2 reg on O2 side of kit, my theory is if i'm carrying it I'd like access to it! It has a flow stop on it and is also bright yellow and tucked away so not easily reached. I'd be interested on other peoples thought of this? My level 2 trimix instructor (currently doing) is not keen at all for this!! John
