![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: have you modified your rebreather poll I dived homebuilds for a few years so when I bought my CK I wanted something I wouldn't have to modify. I've hardly did te same as you,I voted for minor mods, I've changed the BOV to a Mares (but that's a Jetsam standard part so not really a mod), I've also added a QC so that the BOV is connected to my bailout and I've replaced the displays with a Shearwater. I don't like it as a primary so will be swapping back to the originals. Pretty much stock apart from that and no plans to alter anything. I had firstly modified my dolphin making at home the shell, the kiss addition system, the sensor holder, the oxymeter houssing and electronics.... but I faced loads of watter leaks comming enven il my electronics...I went to the point where it was impossible to dive !!! or nearly impossible... I was upset and nearly ready to drop jetsam an order...but as I had to get a training I did want to take after so any years of kiss style diving so I decided to give my dolphin a last chance and ordered a large amount of parts at tecme , sensor holder, L pipe, mark munroe, triple gauge.... 1 days after the parcel arrives from martin's I splashed from my rib, but the home building virus came back... and I made a new gauge, a new fiber glass shell, I am now machining a new sensor holder and planing to make a dsv, and new Counter lungs.... well ... reading you post and other I can see that guys like to add their personnal touch and that nearly no rebreather seems fit 100% the divers needs... interresting regards jean mi
