![]() | Inspiration Mouthpiece I am sure most Inspiration users, like me have discovered that the mouthpiece supplied by AP is very uncomfortable. So I recently purchased a Seacure mouthpiece, went through the molding instructions, and made myself a very comfortable mouthpiece. Only trouble was, first time I used it, it fell off the holder on the hose valve. I had used the cable tie to secure it, but this was not enough, and ended up taping it on with electrical tape rather than miss the dive.Has anybody got any suggestions on how I can make the Seacure more secure ?Thanks |

![]() | Re: Inspiration Mouthpiece Anton,It is the Pro II, the people at Seacure recommended this as they said the bit that attaches to the regulator or in my case hose valve is nice and fat, and will stretch. Well, it stretched OK, but is now too loose.Peter |

But if you don't mind to be the test dummy to mount it on the Inspo/Evo mouthpiece, then I would appreciate the feedbacks once you get it done right ![]() Best Regards. Wael

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Inspiration Mouthpiece It took me 2 tries to successfully install my SeaCure II. The mouthpiece (MP) is too small to just slide onto the DSV, so I had to heat the part of the MP that the instructions tell you not to heat. The first time I did this I heated it too much and it went right on, but I found out a few days later that it stretched too much, it actually came off during a dive (that kinda sucked) even with the zip-tie. The second mouth piece I bought I only heated it up a minor bit and really had to work to stretch it onto the DSV. Then I zip-tied it making sure the zip-tie was very tight, then I added a second zip-tie just to really make sure it was on securely. It has now been on for over a year. The key is to only heat the MP end slightly and really force it over the DSV.
