Inspiration Mouthpiece

Hi,

Thanks Anton for the pictures. I have ordered DiveMatics BOV and unfortunately the SeaCure won't fit on it. But still interesting to be used with the APD mouth piece.

Anton,

How did you get the mouthpiece to fit so nicely. I heated the DSV end, and when I pushed it on, it collapsed and went mishapen. I have put a second tie wrap on it just in case, but have not had a chance to dive it yet.

i put a jax on my vision a couple of years ago ,wouldnt change it. it also didnt fit the mouthpiece very well so i heated the end untill it was really soft,slid it over the mouthpieceand tightened on the cabletie before it could cool.perfect fit

Hello!

First i put the cabletie on the dsv, then
I heated the seacure dsv end in hot water for 3 sec. then i pushed it on the dsv (picture).
Finally i pull the cabletie fast, and it fitted the first time!!

Now after 4 dives i have to say that that fu..... piece of plastic was one of the best things i've ever bought!!

Are there any problems with WOB. AP states that the thick mouthpiece is used to ensure proper Work of Breathing.

I stretched a Scubapro mouthpiece over the larger Inspo fitting and it worked for a while and then split. I couldn't work out why the loop was leaking so much water until I got back into the boat and looked at it.

These days if I start to feel the mouthpiece, on standard ones, is getting a bit uncomfortable I check the t-pieces are angled out so it isn't pulling away from me. That seems to cue me to bite harder and that gets very uncomfortable after an hour or so.

The seacure mouthpiece has exact the same hole when you strech it on the dsv as the dsv. I don't take some note about the wob, it's the same as with the orginal mouthpice.

But very comfortable!!!!
