| CK+Shearwater ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Re: The Shearwater HUD in Pea Soup...Zero viz! Could this be the first global standard for rebreathers?? Wholeheartedly agree- Rebreather World should definitely push for full disclosure from all Manufactures in this new arena.Gill- Can you please publish full specifications for your test. Min/Max soup volume, ambient and soup tempratures, type of mask, HUD viewing distances and the correct beverage to drink with the soup afterwards!!! ![]() I also think this thread and any subsequent results should be a "sticky" before considering Scrubber endurance and WOB I will now look to see if any new units specify that they are certified to the Pea Soup Viz HUD Standard. |

Now I've almost had enough Bundy to think that maybe we need to test the Aussie version and see if the HUD will work while immersed in such a delicacy. Bloody typical. . why cant people stop trying to frig with a perfectly good standard so that it makes their own inadequate equipment appear in a better light?![]() |

Everyone knows that pea-wack should be made in a pan big enough to fit over your head. Any smaller, you're not making enough. There should be half a bacon pig floating in it as well as dumplings. The pan of pea-wack should last at least 5 days and by the weekend you should be able to cut a slice of soup. Unless your test facility can fulfil such basic criteria, I think your results are basically flawed. Go away and test again!

Unless it's the whole rear end of a swine corpse with a trotter still attached, it don't count as 'bacon' in my book. Anyways. It's small print. You're not meant to be able to read that even if you can find your glasses....![]() g
