What is a Total Numpty

Although I find this site an excellent source of information related to rebreathers etc. I'm sometimes stumped by the terminology. I'll list a few and maybe someone can help.
1.-a generous splodge of wonga
2.-One can get it---IF---you have the ockers, shin-plasters, cubic wonga!
3.-'darn sarf'
4.-fairy snuff
5.-A TOTAL NUMPTY
These are just a few I can remember and I have read Jeff Bozanics' Understanding Rebreathers cover to cover and don't recall references to any of the above.

Hi Pete,

Mmm the 'British' vocabulary eh?

1. A generous helping of cash/money
2. Stumped on that one myself.....
3. My reading of that would be the regional accent for saying 'Down south'
4. Another slang term for 'Fair Enough'
5. Mmm how to be politically correct on this one...

Someone lacking in a few brain cells & apt to do things not good for their health....

Of course those are just 'my' interpretations of those phrases, to some they mean something completely different, I suppose again it could come down to the context in which they are used...
I think the best example of that could be the 'fairy snuff' as someone could also be referring to a 'fine powder like substance

' ie snuff that a fairy would use???

A person who never has or never will have a f*ing clue what he is doing
OR
An idiot, a silly person
OR
a person so stupid they are incapable of understanding the simpliest of things
OR
someone who is so f***ing irritating that they manage to get under your skin and make your blood boil with their painful slowness and stupity
that guy was a total f***ing numpty

Anyhoo, moving right along, I think you get the idea...

There is over 80 definitions of Numpty at Urban Dictionary so go make yourself sick!

I think you have a bit tooo much time on your hands to go doing all this research

I'd say it's time to go diving or time for some more

But good to know my definition was 'officially' pretty close...
